At the 5th One-Day International cricket match between Australia and South Africa at Perth on 30 Jan 2009, the crowd was getting bored as Australia slid to a 39 run defeat and a 4-1 series loss. But, in their boredom, the crowd in the Inverarity Stand constructed a beer snake from one end of the grandstand to the other. A world record that will stand the test of time. Amazing that Channel 9 showed it, too, they usually ignore such things.
