Descripción de London 360 26/09/11:
This week's show is presented by Krystina Meens. In episode 8 the London 360 team head to a bicycle powered pop-up cinema where Londoners are trading their cinema seats for saddles as they learn how to live low-carbon lifestyles in the city. They visit celeb chef Jamie Oliver in Stratford where he recently set up his 'Ministry of Food' initiative in the area. They find out how the Newham community has taken to his unique approach to healthy eating. Reporter Simon Constantine catches up with generations of Londoners in the build-up to Black History Month. They are focussing on the 'wind-rush generation', when in 1948 there was the biggest migration of Caribbean settlers to Britain, giving birth to multiculturalism in London as we know it. The Roma, Gypsy and Traveller community have long been one of the misrepresented minority groups in the media. With many young Roma citizens in London apprehensive at disclosing their identities. Reporter Maleena Pone finds out what the future holds for this marginalised community. Also including regular features Secret London and Londoner of the Week.
