Lyrics below */ For those of you who yearned for it, for those who prayed it would never come and especially for those who didn't really care, here's the long-awaited English-dubbed version of "Hazte Industrial", from here forth, Go Engineer. After the inexplicable success of our silly little video among Spanish speakers, we've done our best to translate it keeping grasp of the tone and the philosophy behind the --ahem--original song, portraying the sometimes hard but always hopeful path that must be trodden by the future engineers of our time. Still, the video's purpose is the same as it was: just for kicks. Hope you enjoy it! Here, the exams are just freaking impossible! Then again, you may choose to believe we're just stupid, which judging by the video seems like a plausible hypothesis. In any case, be warned. Who Are These Guys Anyway? -- The ETSII (Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales) is one of the Schools of Engineering in the Univiersidad Politécnica de Madrid (Spain, Europe). The degree "Ingeniero Industrial" in Spain -- unlike what is usually understood elsewhere by industrial engineering -- is a 5-year-long engineering degree (equivalent to bachelor's + master's) covering a wide range of technical fields including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics and computer-science, power technologies, construction, manufacturing and industrial management. Students choose a particular specialisation for the second half of the degree, but the essentials for all the fields are common. There you go, now watch the video.
