Review and shooting test of the new Ruger SR22 pistol, .22 LR. Overview of the pistol includes closeups of all the working features; dimensions, safety/decocker, mag release, sight system, double/single action, and field strip. Shooting test includes a variety of ammo from 30 to 60 feet. This pistol was released to the market the first week of January 2012. Retail is $399; my cost was $330 via a licensed dealer, plus background check fee and state tax. With all of that this still went out the door at well below the retail price.
